Low DOF flowers

Beautiful background are generated by a low depth-of-field as if they were hand painted. Here are some examples with flowers.

Depth Of  Field (DOF) is a quite strange thing in photography. It can destroy a shot because it is too high or too low as well. It could be a nightmare for macro-photographer with some millimeters available (especially when it is windy...) or for a portrait photographer if the background is too sharp (but not always).

What I love with low DOF is the background that is created like a painting. Especially with flowers. It gives a splendid variety  of natural "wallpapers".

Here are some of my collection: have a look at both the flowers and their background made by nature and physics laws.
